Initiatives by the Government in the areas of fraud, defective, pricing, and mischarge have drastically changed the manner in which contractors do business with the Government, Contractors are required to demonstrate that their systems of internal controls they relate to estimating, recording, and reporting costs under Government contracts, are designed to preclude fraud, defective pricing, and mischarging; that the systems' effectiveness is monitored on a continuing basis; and that responsible employees and appropriately trained in this in this aspect of doing business with the Government.
